prism for macOS

The same analysis the CLI runs, as an app you open. It carries its own copy of prism, so there is nothing to install alongside it — and, like the CLI, it reads your code on your machine and uploads none of it.

Running tests inside Studio is now safe: very large suites are pointed to the terminal, smaller ones run with memory and time limits and can be cancelled.

What you are installing

Requires macOS 11 or later. The app is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens without a Gatekeeper warning.

It updates itself. New versions are downloaded in the background and applied the next time you quit the app.

Your code does not leave the machine. Analysis runs locally against published frameworks. An Anthropic key is only needed for the parts that ask a model, and it stays in your own settings — see the privacy page.
